BIT OF A DO
BIG HAIR DON'T CARE
All that and more... The new brand campaign from Saks Hair, Skipton
Saks – the UK’s biggest hair and beauty salon group – has been transforming its customers since 1974. From one salon in the north of England to an award-winning franchise group, you’ll also find a cracking Saks salon located at Newmarket Street, Skipton.
The brand’s latest campaign, ALL THAT AND MORE, celebrates a heritage of 43 years of British hairdressing… and what Saks has evolved into today.
John Goddard, Owner at Saks Skipton, says: “ALL THAT… Women keep coming to Saks Skipton for great hair – that’s a given! We train all our stylists in cutting the classics, trends and colour techniques and push them to evolve creatively with backstage opportunities.
“AND MORE… We’re also proud of the connection our people make with our customers. From a warm welcome and expert consultation to walking out feeling special to the chance to win-big with #ILOVESAKS and fighting gynaecological cancers with The Eve Appeal - these things really set us apart.”
John continues: “For ALL THAT AND MORE we created four styles that our customers love. It’s about getting the look and the know-how at Saks and recreating it at home. From a mussy crop or next-day texture to the weekend blow-dry and VIP up-dos.”
INTRODUCING ALL THAT AND MORE…
GET SHORTY - A long short! Thrown together; undone with texture. Easy to own by blasting underneath and blow-drying the front in different directions.
Then adding products and sweeping it with your hands - play.
FAVES Add L’Oréal Smartbond to colour service to strengthen and protect.
L’Oréal Volume Lift Mousse, Redken Rewind, L’Oréal Crepage de Chignon.
BIG HAIR DON’T CARE - The weekend blow dry with a heavy flicked fringe - about creating fullness. After blow drying, pin curl or set hair in rollers for extra oomph, then lightly brush out.
FAVES Saks PROLIGHT hairdryer – featherweight with salon quality pizzazz! Redken Pillow Proof Primer, L’Oréal Tecni.Art Crystal Gloss and Air Fix.
TEXTURISE ME - A modern take on the 70s Shag – not for those who love a polished finish - use tongs to add slightest movement then work with products and scrunch with hands to diffuse the look.
FAVES Redken One Unite, L’Oréal Tecni.Art Volume Architect and Wild Stylers Beach Waves.
BIT OF A DO - A homage to the 60s up-do. Set dry hair in rollers, brush out loosely, put into high pony then pile it high! Play about and pin, letting it fall naturally – nonchalant!
FAVES L’Oréal Tecni.Art Full Volume Extra Mousse, Constructor and Redken Control
