Pennine Outdoor was established in Holmfirth in 1962 and moved, under new ownership, to High Bentham on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in 2003. It changed ownership again in 2017 and rebranded as Pennine Outdoor Fabrics Ltd.   Throughout this time they have been providing fabric and accessories to thousands of satisfied customers, both corporate and private.

Pennine Outdoor Fabrics Ltd sell a wide range of light, medium and heavyweight fabrics in a number of styles, such as textured nylon, acrylic canvas, coated nylons, polyesters and ripstop. To complement this, you will also find a comprehensive stock of zips, buckles, webbing and waterproofing products.

The expert team can help you prepare for all the Dales can throw at you. If the weather does turn a little colder than expected, their thermal and stretch fabrics such as fleece, softshell, polyester microfibres and Thinsulate have got you covered! 

 

But this is not all... just down the road stands their sister company, Temptations Craft Boutique, who can provide the best machine for your projects. They are agents for Brother Sewing Machines and have expert staff on hand to help you with your decision.

Temptations Craft Boutique also hold regular sewing workshops. The perfect place to go if you need a little guidance! Qualified tutors will help you with your projects.

This beautiful boutique is an Aladdin’s cave for anyone who enjoys sewing, knitting and crafting. Immerse yourself in a seamstresses’ wonderland, with over 600 fabrics for patchwork and quilting, plus a selection of dress fabrics. Complementing this is a large range of haberdashery, patchwork sundries, knitting products and knitting wool by Stylecraft and James C Brett.

The Temptations classroom is fully equipped with top of the range sewing machines. Regular classes are run on a Wednesday, where you can come along and do almost any sort of sewing you wish, from curtains to dressmaking. There are also patchwork classes, crochet sessions, and half or full day workshops in subjects such as dry needle felting, lampshades and mixed media.
