Peter Jenkinson Painters & Decorators is a small friendly, reliable Skipton company working around the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas specialising in domestic, commercial, interior and exterior redecoration.

Peter Jenkinson painter and decorator first became involved with painting at the tender age of 15 and he began his apprenticeship within the family business which was established in 1974 by his father Paul. He told Aspire: “I would burn old paint kettles out at the bottom of the customer’s garden ready for the next day’s work. I’d be footing a ladder, watching and learning followed by lots of sanding, filling and then more sanding, removing door handles, latches and cleaning. Knotting, priming, putty, undercoat, it was literally years before I was allowed to gloss or even dream to be allowed to hang wallpaper, however this has stood me in good stead as I was taught the correct way!”

This charming house is situated in Kettlewell and was extensively prepared and redecorated using high performance exterior products to ensure it will stand the harsh elements of the weather whilst also protecting the building for years to come.
