Cut Above has been at home on Water Street for 22 years. Today, the team consists of Hilary and Emma, who joined the team 7 years ago as a trainee.

Over the years, Hilary has witnessed many changes, in both the industry and her own salon. “It’s great to see how the industry has developed over the years. New products enable us to push the limits further and further, without the risk of permanent damage, especially when colouring. The variety of available colours today is amazing too and all the products are much gentler than they used to be, with natural base ingredients. There’s so much great stuff to work with these days, it’s as exciting for us as it is for the client ready for a new look!”
